Branding & Creative

Look like one company on every surface a customer meets

Your brand is the expectation a customer brings to the first phone call. It was set by the signboard they drove past, the invoice they were sent last year, the carton on the shelf and the advertisement they half remember.

Brand Strategy and Creative Identity System

Most businesses do not have a branding problem. They have a consistency problem.

The signboard uses one shade of blue, the brochure another, the invoice template has a stretched logo, and the sales deck was made by whoever had time. Each piece is fine alone. Together they look unplanned.

  1. Decisions, Not Drawings

We start with what you stand for, who you are for, what you will never claim, and how you want to be described when you are not in the room. Those answers make design swift and decisive.

  2. Coherent Visual System

A primary mark with responsive variations, colour palettes calibrated for CMYK print and RGB screens, and typography paired for English and vernacular clarity across all formats.

  3. Rules People Can Apply

Clear brand guidelines written in plain language with visual do's and don'ts, so your internal office staff and print vendors can apply them correctly without calling a designer.

Six brand assets built to work together

Every deliverable is prepared with printer-ready source files, digital web assets, and strict guidelines for immediate adoption.

  1. Brand strategy

Positioning, audience, personality and the words you own. Written as a short document your team can actually use when making decisions without us.

  2. Logo and identity

A primary mark with the variations real life demands. Horizontal, stacked, single colour, favicon, embroidery and signage versions, supplied in the formats printers ask for.

  3. Brand guidelines

Colour codes, typefaces, spacing, logo clearance, photography style and the mistakes that keep recurring, written so an office administrator can apply them.

  4. Print and collateral

Visiting cards, letterheads, invoice templates, brochures, catalogues, signage and exhibition panels, prepared as press ready files your local printer can work from.

  5. Packaging design

Labels, cartons and pouches designed around shelf visibility, statutory information and the printing method you are actually using, checked with a physical proof.

  6. Video and photography

Company films, product videos, factory walkthroughs and photography, scripted and shot so the footage still suits your brand two years from now.

How we build a brand identity system

A disciplined, step-by-step methodology ensuring clarity at every gate before creative execution begins.

  1. 01
    Understand

    Ask what you stand for

We talk to founders, staff and customers separately. The gap between how you describe the business and how customers describe it is where the work starts.

  2. 02
    Strategize

    Fix the positioning first

We agree your positioning, personality and message in writing before any design begins, so later feedback is about fit rather than personal taste.

  3. 03
    Build

    Design the identity system

Logo, colour, type and layout are designed together and tested on the things you really produce. A board, a bill, a pouch, a phone screen.

  4. 04
    Optimize

    Roll it out and refine

We apply the identity across your existing material, note where the rules are awkward in practice, and adjust the guidelines rather than letting people improvise.

  5. 05
    Scale

Hold it together as you grow

New products, branches and campaigns get templates and asset libraries, so the brand survives even when different people and agencies are producing the work.

What changes when your brand is coherent

  1. One consistent appearance

Your signboard, website, invoice and packaging finally look like they came from the same company.

  2. Faster design decisions

With guidelines in place, routine design work stops needing a meeting and stops depending on one person's taste.

  3. Files you own

Editable source files, fonts and print ready artwork are handed over, so you are never locked to one designer.

  4. Easier to be taken seriously

Staff, dealers and buyers judge you partly on how you present yourself, and consistent material gives them one less reason to hesitate.

What clients ask before they start

We already have a logo. Do we need to change it?
Often not. If the mark is recognised by your customers, throwing it away costs more than it gains. In many cases the useful work is tidying the existing logo, fixing the colour and type around it, and writing the rules that were never written. We will tell you which situation you are in.
How many logo options will we see?
A small number, each with a reason behind it. Showing a dozen directions usually means none of them was argued for properly, and it turns the decision into a popularity vote among whoever is in the room. We present focused routes, explain the thinking, then refine the one you choose.
Can you work with our existing printer and fabricator?
Yes, and we prefer to. Local printers, signboard fabricators and packaging suppliers each have their own file requirements and limits. We speak to them directly, supply artwork in the format they need, and check a proof before a full run, so nothing is discovered after production.
Do we need branding before building a website?
It helps a great deal. A website is mostly an application of brand decisions, so building one first usually means making those decisions quickly and informally, then paying to redo them later. If timing is tight, we can settle the core identity first and let the wider system follow.
How do we stop people ignoring the guidelines?
By making the correct option the easy one. We supply ready templates for the documents people make most often, keep the logo files where staff can find them, and write the rules in plain language. Guidelines get ignored when following them takes longer than improvising.
